Does anyone have experience with New England Firearms muzzleloaders? I am interested in an "inline" gun to hunt in Pennylvania's early muzzleloader season. (The late, after Christmas, season is flintlock only.) Are these guns a good value? Do the short barrels limit effective powder charges. What recommendations do you have for a muzzleloader? Thanks, cwilson

I have one, they are not a bad entry level rifle, and if your not going to go full bore over black powder its a good one, the only two things I have against it are the colaspable ramrod and the issue with useing high mounts for the scope due to the hammer , have used 777, pyrodex, and black in mine and they all work well

There are 147 posts in this THREAD and I think I actually shot the rifle somewhere around 108. If you can wade through it......
