| I shoot a T/C White Mountain carbine in .45. For anything larger than small deer, I prefer a .50 or better, up to my .72 double. Used to have a 4 bore flintlock musket..I considered that adequate. |

| I use a homemade .45 with a 550 gr lead flat nose bullet over 85-100 gr of real gunpowder. Good for anything that walks.
