Rusty, single-shots in .38-55 aren't hard to find. Uberti offers this in their High Wall. For a .32-40, take a look at C. Sharps Arms. It is a standard chambering for their very fine High Wall. There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t. – John Green, author | |||

There are several good makers out there that can build you a .32-40, but you will not be sorry you got the C. Sharps. Between my wife, son, daughter, and me we have four in various calibers and they all shoot quite well and have excellent fit and finish. One morning I shot an elephant in my pajamas. Thanks, Bill! My cases from Quality Cartridge arrived this afternoon. I think I really want to put a scope on this rifle, but I am not impressed with the "Vintage" scopes available. I'll look around.
