Rusty, single-shots in .38-55 aren't hard to find. Uberti offers this in their High Wall. For a .32-40, take a look at C. Sharps Arms. It is a standard chambering for their very fine High Wall.

There are several good makers out there that can build you a .32-40, but you will not be sorry you got the C. Sharps. Between my wife, son, daughter, and me we have four in various calibers and they all shoot quite well and have excellent fit and finish.

Rusty, since C. Sharps came under "new management," everything about the outfit has improved. They make a very fine rifle. Can't wait to see yours in this grand old caliber.

Thanks, Bill! My cases from Quality Cartridge arrived this afternoon.

I think I really want to put a scope on this rifle, but I am not impressed with the "Vintage" scopes available. I'll look around.
