All you guys who SUPPOSEDLY know the details, well, IMO you should either give 'em up or shut up about how privileged you are to be privy to the 'special information' that has been denied to the rest of us Great Unwashed.

If you've been 'sworn to secrecy' (again, teenage girls) by the maker then IMO he's an idiot and I certainly won't be interested in any of his products.

This teasing thread has spoiled things for me, I can't overcome the taste of 'now I'm gonna tell you a secret but you can't tell ANYBODY about it!' How sophomoric.

The longer the maker waits, the less folks will be interested.

You are more than welcome to put me on your ignore list. Have a nice day. If anyone here is guilty of sophomoric behavior you should look at yourself in the mirror. Oh, and using the phrase "ain't got" twice in the same sentence doesn't say a great deal for your communication skills either.

MY communication skills?

Wow.

Apparently I need to explain (to at least one 'special person', grin) ahead of time whenever I use such fairly common communication techniques to emphasize a point. One of my old instructors told me that there's always 10% who don't get the word.....

Cliff,

Are you going to buy the Bowie or not?

Look up the phrase Socratic Irony.

I dislike the entire genre of "I know a secret, but I am not going to share it." I flunked "Connect The Dots" in kindergarten.

Adam could have just told us. He sent me pictures already.

lol

Fellas, no need for anyone to get all bunched up. Sometimes words on the internet can be not so good, no one can see any body language. You know?

Anyway, Rich, thanks for the kind words about the gun.

Cliff, thanks for the order.

Now lets talk about the gun if you want to.
I will start for anyone interested.........

It is a compact design and very trim. I like a gun that is easy to point and a joy to carry, anyone else agree?
It is all that and light weight too.
There will eventually be three grades, at least that is our intention.
There will be two grades very soon.

The action is our own design. It took a lot of back and forth and a lot of design work, way over a year.
We wanted to be very proud of the gun when it finally hit the market, so, we cut no corners designing it.
Honestly, it came out nicer than I even envisioned when we set off down this path. It really is a fine little rifle.
I truthfully cannot imagine someone not being just as proud as us to own one.

We wanted to build something that is a great value and that most anyone can afford without going broke to buy it.
It is a great value, period.
Where else can a guy go buy a rifle with over a year of design into it and that shoots as good as it looks and with high grade juglans regia for under 2k? I dont know where.

Maybe there are some questions rambling around in some heads out there, so go ahead and ask if you have any...

we are working on a website for the rifle now. It should be up soon, well, when I say soon I mean as soon as we can!! LOL Wink

Thanks for the pics Adam....AWESOME
So which of the 3 grades; would be the pics you sent me?

So what are the odds of a 7X57 &/or 300 H+H being cartridge choices a little down the road?

mike,
Please send an email.

Rod,
The photos were of the high grade gun. I hesitate to mention that because I would really like to stress that the wood to be used on the midpriced gun is indeed very nice as well.
The wood I prefer tends to fall in the grades being used on the mid-priced gun.

I am working on the photos for examples of those stocks/blanks for our website presently.

I can email those if you like.

Rod,
We can make those calibers work on the custom gun which is the higher grade rifle.

Down the road those are both cartridges we would like to see offered on the other grades as well.
I am a fan of them both.
I hunted for yeaars with a 7x57.
And, today I feel a very warm spot for the .300 H&H. It will be a barrel I have on one of my rifles.
So, it will be available.

Is it large enough for a 375 Magnum size cartridge?

Mike,
Yes it is large enough.
Although the action is small, it also has a generous amount of recoil surface.

Also the walls are over 300 thou thick. We grew in rather than out. The action is about the size of a Dakota model 10 on the outside measurements.

There is one size action for all calibers.

Although we do not have any .375 barrels presently, we will.

Also, there is no such thing as a limit by "family" of cartridges. A shooter can go from .222 to a .300 mag or any of the calibers we offer, which will be expanding.

Yes Adam, please send pics of the other grade as well.

Its hard to tell in the pics, would that side hammer be an issue for LH shooters?

I think I'll pass on the Bowie. Also, I keep secrets. Period. If that bothers you, I will apologize. I wasn't attempting to tease the group with knowledge of something many had not been told but I was asked not to share any photos and I honored the request.

Adam, I have no doubt of your good intentions but IIUC there has already been one price change? I personally would be A LOT more interested if I could see guaranteed price, performance, pictures and above all, achievable and guaranteed delivery date. And why all the secrecy?

Lol...well your right, the price is actually lower on the high grade...shame on us. Lol.

Forgive me, but one reason for "secrecy" is because pricing can change. You really never know for certain where you can price a product until the proverbial dust settles...time to build, barrel suppliers etc.

Various other reasons as well.

As for delivery, well sir the guns are well into production before we started taking orders...not the other way around.

As for pictures and details, as I have mentioned, we are working on a website...or you can email as I have mentioned above.

Performance will be documented with test targets for each. Additionally several writers will likely also be shooting and hunting with and writing about the rifles.

They shoot well, we are not into spending over a year waisting our time on a rifle that does not perform well.

Please inquire via email if your interested.

Thanks,

Adam

Adam,

The switch barrel ease is something I really like. I can see a nice one with 300 H&H and 375H&H barrels in my future.

If you are going to talk with writers, send the first LH to Craig.

The pictures are really fine.

Rich

Cliff, it would have been better, in my humble opinion to have said nothing. It's all talk until Adam shows pictures like the ones he sent me. And others...

Rich,
I agree, I too really like the ease of it. The idea has always appealed to me escpecially for travel. That is where it comes into it's own, that and of course being able to take your favorite gun on a cous deer hunt and then go bear hunting by switching out calibers.

I am not the biggest fan of 375 though...just me.

And there is no need to stay in familys such as those two calibers.

Now the 300 H&H I love, may very well be my favorite round.

Craig will get one for testing.

lol...butchloc, your trouble!
Send me an email, I will give you plenty of reasons!

I understand what you are saying. The fact is that I had already seen photos before entering into the thread. My initial post was intended to be of support to a guy who was being throttled pretty good because nobody believed what he said. I simply said that it was not a prank.
I'll certainly know better next time.

I am pleased with the way this is being handled.

Anyone who wants to see multiple views of these rifles needs only to Email Adam.

Part of my initial concern was the handling of the "non"Press Release.

Seeing the rifle has alleviated those concerns.

Adam has about gotten me convinced to go 300 H&H and 458 Lott.

It WAS awfully close to April first...

Rich,
You like stirring the pot!

Honestly guys, there are no teenage girls who work here.
There are valid reason for us not posting photos all over the internet at this time.

We have sense and we have balls...we have spent a year and a half of our lives and the needed $ to do this.

We are presently trying in earnest to get a website up that has lots of info, and pictures, where any questions you have will likely be answered.
If we spend all day on threads answering questions derived from photos we posted, then we can not get work completed.....like building the website, and the guns.

Thanks,

Adam

Adam, this is a partial quote from a PM conversation I'm having with another poster. My words, and it illustrates my personal position on this.

"...this whole thing has left a bad taste in my mouth. Why the big tease secret?

"Also, I ain't asking him for nuthin. I'm the guy that has the money and he's the guy that's wanting the money so IMO it's up to him to please me, not vice-versa!"

Maybe you're not a teenage girl but IMO you've shown bad judgement in this matter. Post the photos, and then SLAP the fellow who first posted about this fiasco!
Regards, Joe

I find it amazing that grown men can get their panties in such a wad,let the man who never made a faux pas cast the first internet stone, some of you have according to your post have vast knowledge with single shots, stick with those and spend your money likewise.
Someone evidently let the cat out of the bag early whether on purpose or not ,we will never know, but let's give the benefit of doubt to AFreeman, I feel like he is trying to do the right thing, despite what others have said and done.
