Are the encore hinge pins hardend or not.

I don't really know! How could anyone tell?
I've been using my Encore for quite a few years and I can't see any signs of wear anywhere in the hinge area, including the pin!
I'd bet that it is though! But like I said, I don't know!
I'll bet at T/C Arms, www.tcarms.com there would be someone who could verify this, one way or the other!

The hinge pins are not very hard in my experience. That's a good thing. You want the hinge pin to wear before the action or the barrel does.
