Simply the best!

Here´s a five shoot group of the old reliable, the .45-70, fired from my beloved High Wall.
Range was 100 metre, 55grs. of R902 behind a 300grs.HP from Hornady.

Winchester had a 300 @ 1800 100 years ago !! I use it for deer with Win Partition ,very effective and accurate in my Browning 1885 !...What is your velocity ??

I didn´t measure it, but the RUAG reloading manual wrote about 2000 f/s (~610m/s), this is approx. what I get with quick load.

The rifle above is the .45-70, the rifle below is a .30-30WCF.

Nice shooting. I have killed several deer with 300 gr bullets in my 45/70 Ruger No1.
