| would it be possible, yes. i do not believe enough would sell to make it profitable for someone to do it on a larger scale. dakota makes a rib that they sell separate that is contoured on the underside for douglas and shilen tapers. i have fitted one to a ruger that was rebarreled, and then milled the top for talley rings. i did fit it so the rear was over the action but not touching. |

| I have one fitted to a standard Ruger barrel but it's completely custom and another like it would be very spendy. I thought I had a photo on photobucket but can't find it, Anyway it is possible but not cheap.
