I need a 3/8" rail for a handirifle ASAP!!

Jeffe just do this. The bar i am useing to recontour the bottom of that base is a wee bit small but the sandpaper brings it to the correct OD as the Handi barrel. That old redfield base I used was for a Rem 760 or 742. The OD was a tad smaller than needed. The recontour took about 30 minutes. Done deal & ended up with a much better base than is what is available for the Handi. The holes don't match factory barrels but i did a rebarrel & that didn't matter.

What kind do you want Jeff? I have an extra Leupold base or a Weaver #82 I can get to you quick either priority(2-3 days) or Express mail.

FYI there are lots of different Weaver style bases made for H&Rs, Warne makes a couple steel bases too, one is picatinny, EGW also makes a nice picatinny base in 0MOA and 20MOA. Scroll down the page at the link for pics.
