Something is not B.S. simply because you do not understand it. If you would like to discuss twist rate, please pull up that thread as I will not be lured into taking this one off track.

Just an update, the action will be replaced with a new one - the owner did not want fixed when he could get a new.
I want to thank the people at MRC for very good service - so far.

it might be "good service" for them to replace it, but it never should have left their shop in the first place. I have read too many horror stories and heard first hand accounts of similar total lack of quality control problems with MRC. If they don't quickly right the ship, they will surely sink in short order.

I am not wishing any ill-will on them, just making an observation. I hope they can fix the problems they have, but it seems they would be better off to totally stop production and shut down for a month. They need to bring some one in from the outside to look at what they are doing now and come up with a way to actually produce what they say they produce.

I would hate to see another American firearms manufacturer shut down, but if they can't fix it soon, they need to just close the doors.

I never jumped on the Montana action band wagon even though I was sorely tempted. I decided on Interams Mark X and Charles Daly Mausers. No problems at all with them yet. Thanks...Bill.
