When I either copy of type in the www.cncspecialtyproducts.com site, I get an ad for Go Daddy...am I missing something here?

Why should this be in the classifieds?

They are not selling a specific item just informing us of the new web site. I am glad they did it here and to me this is the proper place.

So everybody here soliciting business in one form or another should do it in the classifieds? I've used a couple different Smiths here for different work with good success based off of threads or questions I posed here. Let's be honest here, many Smiths use this place as a sounding board for business, nothing wrong with that as most of them also are very willing to share advice and answer questions. What this is about is petty click behavior. Like a bunch of old damn women sometimes.

So is that why our fearless moderator calls some on the carpet while others who constantly promote their products and services get a free pass?

I specifically recall both Jim Kobe and Duane Wiebe promoting their products with no objection from anyone least of all the moderator. Why the double standard Jeffesso?

Sure thing
Pretty easy - Don't make the majority of your posts, outside of classifieds, things that should be in classifieds. As an opposite example, there's a couple members that basically don't post outside of "for sale" in the classifieds.

In other words, add to the forum with the majority of your posts.

Also - don't cross post in classifieds and then in X number of different forums that there's something for sale, solely for the sake of driving people to go read it

and don't BTT in classfieds constantly .. these people that hit BTT 2-4 times a DAY are annoying.

Pretty simple -- give more than your take, and have fun

I am not selling anything here. Just informing people that I have a new email and website.

I did have another post that we are making Maser .375. You told me to put it in the classifieds and I did. I may sound a little stupid here but this forum is the first one I have ever been on. All I was doing with me posts was what I had seen several other people do. I will only post our products for sale in the classifieds.

The only thing lacking in this thread is a legal brief presented by 22WRF. That said, announcing a new web site and email address for informational purposes only seems appropriate for this forum. Just me $0.02

Maggie, the reason THIS thread was chosen, by some persons, over the other thread, is selective focus.

Trust me, you are NOT the bad person here, nor are you actually the issue.

Where do you see me mention anything about where the post should be?

It's the attack on Jeffe I noted.

You should look before shooting.
