I am hoping this action meets the requirements for a big bore. Maybe a 450 Rigby or mbogo?

Thanks jeffe!
Been really thinking about "how big" for a start. Now I am thinking a 450 Rigby to start with bigger bores down the road!

the rigby is an excellent round.. but I would suggest either the 458 lott or 460 weatherby, due to brass prices... and it WILL matter, sooner or later Smiler

A P14 is suitable for .585 Nyati, .577 Tyrannosaur, .505 Gibbs and .600 Overkill as well.

I just posted these links on another thread, but this one is actually probably more appropriate. Here are three modified P14 Enfield actions that Jim Wisner built for a friend - .505 Gibbs, 450 Rigby and 416 Rigby.

.505 Gibbs & .450 Rigby by J Wisner

I have one of Jim's last sets of P14 Rigby bottom metal, M70 3-pos conversion safeties, .416 Rigby follower, etc stashed away for a .470 Mbogo project Smiler

Friends-

I wish there was some way that we could beg Jim Wisner or another artisan to produce some bottom metal units for P-14 and/or M-1917 Enfields for Enfield fans such as I and others.

Those pictures are of beautiful work!!

Thanks for posting them!!
