I am not all that familiar with the 358. Will the 243 bolt face work on it?

There's a ton of smiths out there that can do the work for you.

Try John Noveske at Noveske Rifleworks.

He is a former PacNor employee. Mostly uses pacnor bbls. He built my 30.06. Knows his stuff.

Dave, if your located in Lubbock, TX, this guy is in your back yard. Mike Bryant. He has the reamer for 358 and is close enough to visit and drop off the gun without the shipping BS.

No, but I have seen a lot of good reports on him. He spends time on the 6mmBR board and another one or two. Suggest a google and see what you turn up. Appears to be an accuracy (BR) smith, which is fine for what you want.

LubbockDave, Mike Bryant is a great, honest guy, and will deliver when he says at the price he quotes. He has done a few things over the years for me and I am very pleased. His website is one for all to see. He will not do your Mauser.
