An average joe doen't know rifles.Used rifles can be a great bargin and very interesting,but.....My best used rifle deal now has cost more than what a new Savage would have.Scope mounts require shims on this M-70.Of the 8 used rifles I have bought,all have needed at least some work,a couple, consignment banishment.
