BurkhardBiggest caliber in an pump rifle
In Germany pump guns are very rare, I never saw one hunting with a pump. I use my pump shotgun with slugs only for foloowing wounded boras but not for hunting.
Looking for a pump rifle I ony found the Remington 7600 but the biggest caliber is 30.06.
So are there other brands for pump rifles and what are the biggest calibers. My interessts are in 9,3x62, 10,75x68. The 35 Wheelen is very hard to find in Germany and the ammo ist very expensive.
Thanks
Burkhard
I reckon you could neally rebarrel a 30/06 to 10.75x68 that would be an awsome set up !!

D HumbargerBurkhard refer to my earlier post.
Rem 760 in 338/06I am in the process of rebarreling a Remington 760 to 338/06. It would be just as easy to rebarrel it to 9.3x62.

BurkhardDoug,
I saw your post, so its seems to be simple to rebarrel to 9,2x62 (the 338/06 is not available). I asked my smith, he told me its possible but expensive, he means more expensive as the cost for the rifle. (he takes about 40 USD per hour for his work)then the reamer and the cost for the proof house. First problem would be the rifle, Remington don't trade it in Germany.
Mayb I can oder the rifle direktly in the US.
regards
Burkhard

D HumbargerHell i'll do the work in trade for a couple of Panzerfaust 100s if you can dig any up.

They recently found a large cashe of them in Poland, about 40 in all. I sure wish that I had been there.

or an SS M40 helment.
