I just bought a remington model 700 bdl 300 ulta mag. Out of the box and with factory amo it was shooting 2.5" groups at 100 yards. I bedded the stock and floated the barrel and with my best reload I am now shooting 3/4" groups at 100 yards. will I be able to get better any better than this with out spending a lot of money?
That is very good accuracy for a rifle that is almost stock. My 300 ultra mag custom rifles average 1/2" for 3 shot groups. It wouldn't make much sense to spend a lot of money to only gain 1/4".

I agree with Stubblejumper, you have a pretty accurate factory rifle. You did not mention your trigger, you might want to have a competent 'smith adjust it for 3 to 3.5lbs. sure-shot
