Is it possible to chamber a 1903 Springfield for this cartridge. If so what all is involved?

I have a really nice one that was sporterized by Santa Fe back in the 60's or 70's. There is nothing wrong with it now, but I have manny 30 06's and no 300 HH'S.

The Springfield is more often chambered for the 308 Norma mag or 300 win mag.

The H&H is longer and gains no velocity so it's not often done.

If you really want a H&H mag on a springfield action, I'm sure someone will do it for you but I've never seen one.

Lots of extra trouble to go HH vs 300win. Mine's a win... it can be done, just lots more money than a win
