Is there any problems with taking say a winchester model 70 in 243 wssm and re-barreling it to a 358 win?

(I really need to stay away from this site! It keeps causing dents in my wallet and takes up space in my gun safe!)

Dave,
wrong way to go, as the wssm is too short, the action already modifed for the fact case, and the bolt face has to be bushed

What you really need is a 35WSSM, which would have a little more ooomph than the 358 Win, anyway. JMO, Dutch.
