Anyone familiar with the Interarms Alexandria, VA imported Mark X Whitworth Arms rifles?
Curious of the quality level and those who have experience with accuracy of the guns. Looks like they made a .222 length,
30.06 length and a .375 length action.

Quite a bit of info on this site. Search Mark X Mauser. BTW, the 375 was an opened up 30-06 action.

Zastava OEM company (Yugoslavia - Serbia now)

imported by:
Interarms
Charles Daly
Remington

Might have been others in between. The early rifles were the better quality.

FWIW I had 3 Charles Daly, 300WM, 270 and 22-250 . They all shot well. The 22-250 is now a 7mm Rem BR. Sold off the other 2.

oups forgot the 4th one was a 7.62x39 is now a 6.5 grendel

they make a mauser 98, sold to MANY brands, Charles Daly, Remington, MarkX, interarms, at least one english name, etc. this worked from 243 to 375 hh -- but NOT a magnum mauser, only modified 98s -

I don't recall that they made a mini action (though I don't know or recall everything) and thought those were CZ/BRNO, which is a different brand

They make one length, the 98. The factory was in Yugoslavia, which is no longer a country.
I've used many of them; first one was a Herters J9, in 1970.
The small action, is not the MK10.

It is a different action entirely.

The .223 on Gun Broker is a “Interarms Mark X” rifle. What’s the quality/reputation like on that rifle?

It was called a Zastava/Charles Daly/Rem Mini Mauser. Bad name as it is not control feed. It has a sort of Sako style extractor. They stopped making it in the 22-250 boltface.

Let me put it this way; if the mini one is called a MKX, it is not the MKX I have ever seen. Looks like they slapped an old reputable model name on a recent non Mauser rifle.

Yes. That is what I was thinking.
I played with a true mini Mauser made by Johansson sp? which seemed to be very well made but something like $3500 . I think I will stay with the Sako L461’s for the toy guns.
