I have a sporteized Remington O3-A3 that has a stamped/sheet metal trigger guard/floorplate assembly. I would like to replace it with something decent looking in steel. Is such a thing available and if so where do I find them? Thank you, Tony

Exactly what Tin can said, get a regular 03 assembly, it is not stamped like the later 03-a3. While you're at it you could change the bolt, you'll notice the 03-a3 bolt looks like a camshaft with sections that are turned down more than others, the 03 bolt isn't like that. Mauser bottom metal can be bent to work on an 03 if you prefer using something with a more classic look, otherwise the 03 bottom metal will work. Jim
