We accidently fired a .222rem in the Mini 14 chambered in .223. The case is stuck in the chamber, is there a tool that can get it out? The back end of the case broke off so its just the top half of the casing.

usually a bore brush that fits really tight will catch enuf to pull it out. run your cleaning rod down the bbl and then screw on something like a 357 or 40 cal bore brush, pull it into the case so it really jams up in it and then push it back out

I once used a brass bolt that just bit into the case wall (ater a bit of shaping) and bumped the case remnant out with a rod.

I have used a 1/4-20 tap to get a busted 6x45mm out of a chamber, maybe there is a thread size that would allow you to get a grip on the inside of the neck of the 222.
