Looking at Lothar Walther's website, they have a couple of CAD type drawings of a straight taper Octogon, as well as the same with a full length rib. I'm looking for opinions on anyone that's used them. Wait time on getting one? Quality of finish, etc. Cost?
Give them a call. Woody will be the one answering the phone. Quality will be excellent as usual.

Also agree, Walther quality is first class. Off memory those barrels can be upward of $1,500. Turnaround time has been 2-4 months for me on their 5130 pre war Mauser contour. Octagon, integral quarter rib etc.. is a different animal and worth a phone call.
Search AR for posting from Steve505. I posted Photo of my LW Oct. full length barrel. Finish was very nice. Smith just finished chambering, reported very hard steel.
