Walther Octagon's
Looking at Lothar Walther's website, they have a couple of CAD type drawings of a straight taper Octogon, as well as the same with a full length rib. I'm looking for opinions on anyone that's used them. Wait time on getting one? Quality of finish, etc. Cost?

Give them a call. Woody will be the one answering the phone. Quality will be excellent as usual.

Try to look unimportant. Your enemy might be low on ammo.

Agreed...if Walther does it, it will be superb

Also agree, Walther quality is first class. Off memory those barrels can be upward of $1,500.
Turnaround time has been 2-4 months for me on their 5130 pre war Mauser contour. Octagon, integral quarter rib etc.. is a different animal and worth a phone call.

Search AR for posting from Steve505. I posted
Photo of my LW Oct. full length barrel. Finish was very nice. Smith just finished chambering, reported very hard steel.
