If I can't find factory sights(at a decent price)for my mid 50's featherweight I may have to put aftermarkets on. What is out there that will slide into the dovetails on a factory barrel?

How much are you willing to spend on sights? do you want them new or used?

You could ask "Marc Stokeld" here on the forum install them - he lives also in MN...

Some classic sights are made by Recknagel - (ERA) which ave been sold on Winchester 70´s...

Best regards,
Klaus

Brownells or midway, lyman or marble sights. The rear one on my '53 m70 looks just like a marble with that adjustments screws

...try Steve Rosser: Phone 214 802 0592
I sold him a bunch of M-70 parts several years ago. There were front, and rear sights in the pile.
Good luck

ebay, search for "Winchester 70 sight" and "Winchester M70 sight", you will get both pre and post 64 but the pre64s are so described. Not cheap.
