A. Have it forged B. Cut it off and weld on a new bolt handle C. Cut the current bolt handle off about 1/8 in from the bolt body, turn it upside down and weld it back on. Bend to suit. D. I have a few M96's and I sent my bolts off to Bob's gunshop, he is pretty quick, consistent work and the price was $60 or so and he furnishes the new handle, welds it on and polishes it. See the link address below. I could post a picture of one if you like. www.bobsgun.com | |||
