new bolt handle on a husky 96 mauser...
i need a new, lower bolt handle on the husky i just got... its too high, for even the highes warne rings ive got.... help????... and tips' busy or i'd bug him....

A. Have it forged

B. Cut it off and weld on a new bolt handle

C. Cut the current bolt handle off about 1/8 in from the bolt body, turn it upside down and weld it back on. Bend to suit.

I have a few M96's and I sent my bolts off to Bob's gunshop, he is pretty quick, consistent work and the price was $60 or so and he furnishes the new handle, welds it on and polishes it.
