I have a new sako 75 varmint in a 22-250, I loaded up some 53gr smk with 36.5 gr of varget shot about 25 rounds each group of five was about 0.750" @ 100 yrds, I then took the stock off the gun to ajust the trigger when i put it back on the same load shots about 1.5" @ 100 yrds????? If i tightened the action screws up too much would that cause the change in group size?? what else could be my problem? i broke the barrel in properly and have been cleaning it regularly, any suggestions?

It could You could have cause the barrel to touch some place it wasn't before. Or not touch where it was before. Try backing them off half a turn then shoot for a group. Sometimes it takes some playing around to get a rifle to shoot its best.
