i hope some one can help,

i have recently had a rifle go off to proof and the load put through has, according to reloading software, almost doubled the pressure acceptable for proofing.

what would the adverse effects be for this and future use?

i do not have exact details of powder or bullet combos or pressures but will try and get hold of them.

proof, at birminham, is 150% .. if it fails proof, and alters itself in any meaningful way, it won't be proofed
