I noticed an interesting problem on my Daly (Mark X) 300 Winmag the last time I was at the range. The feeding was a bit hard and the front/top of the extractor was hitting the back of the front receiver ring. I swapped out the extractor with a spare that had a lot LESS metal but still held the round to the bolt. Feeding smoothed out quite a bit. I'll shoot it tomorrow. I'm going to compare the original to my 270 to see if they are the same. I'm guessing they should NOT be. Rich

Jeff I can see where it's hitting. Not sure I want to grind anything. I think the angle of the hook is causing the rotation. I'll get pics. with the replaced extractor the cases jump onto the bolt with the old one they stay in the mag longer. Rich
