Only an hour from the TC shop, so that makes great sense to buy their own barrel manufacturing shop. I bought a .920 fluted stainless barrel for my 10/22 from Green Mountain 20+ years ago that was fantastic. I think it's recent news. I think it's good. I have a couple of Green Mountain barrels, and I like them. Sounds like they'll keep it running independently and providing barrels to the industry as well as to TC, which I was also glad to hear. | |||

I have used a ton of GM. muzzle loading barrels over the years. Glad they are still in business, no matter who owns them. For Centerfire barrels though, I only use Douglas; better quality. | |||

Wanting to rebarrel two Blackhawks. I ordered blanks for .357 and .40. No problems, just took awhile to get them in the schedule and made. Very reasonable prices too.
