Over on the medium bore rifle thread there is a picture posted (see 35 whelen) of a metal compartment fitted in the pistol grip of a bolt rifle.
I think this would be cool as heck in my 1895 Marlin. I have a scope in quick detachable leupold rings and I am planning to buy an XO peep site that mounts on the weaver base. Where can I get such a compartment , (a link would be great) and is it likly to cause a problem with my stock breaking ?

check New England Custom Guns, they import Recknagel parts from Germany. They have both butt and pistol grip traps.
