Found this item today, a Chilean Oberndorf 7x57 carbine. Seems like Sarco or SOG had these a few years ago. Thought I'd rob the action but all the numbers match, pretty fiddleback walnut, might just keep it original:

Forrest,

I do believe you could find a mauser for sale before I could find my car keys.

That's nice. I might even offer ForrestB an even trade for his set if it was mine Big Grin

Did you ever do anything with that P&H Hussar you showed us? Talk about a true diamond in the rough. That would have to take priority in my book. The Chilean is nice as original and the Hussar isn't.

ForrestB, You are a very fortunate man to own such a beautiful collection of rifles. Please keep posting pics. Makes my day to see them.

Thanks fellas, I knew you guys would appreciate this kinda thing (wife didn't).
Terry, no the Hussar is still in the safe. I've thought about a 404, should be the ticket.
ForrestB, your Weibe Mausers were the inspiration the minute I saw this one.
