The website indicates that these could facilitate a 'quick change' barrel arrangment. Does that sound right....a relatviely quick change out from say a .243 to a .358?

The old 760 was a relatively easy switch. Just unscrew the barrel nut, pull out the barrel from the receiver, spread the action bars and take out the barrel. Reverse the process to install a new barrel. I did it quite a bit and I still have several extra barrels. I have a .30/06 and a 9.3X62 on the same frame. You just have to check the headspace. There isn't a way to adjust it except by switching out bolts.
