I would like to offer a couple of observations if I may. Keep in mind that I do not finish any new stocks only some restoration work on older classic sporters. I have been working with stand oil. Still don't know enough about it but shows promise as a BOILED linseed oil. It's as thick as honey and you will have to heat or cut it. This is pure linseed oil, no chemicals. http://www.grumbacherart.com/p...315#inside-container Anytime I make up and try a new finish I put a coat on a pane of glass to see how it dries, you should try RAW linseed oil on glass some time. | |||
