I'm guessing this would be the right forum for this. What is the maximum practical cartridge length for the M70 FW action? Is there a difference between the current version and older ones?

Thanks,
Dean

Long action or short action? Measure the magazine box.

I didn't know they made a long action M70 FW. I'll measure my wifes in .257 Rob when I can (it is at the cottage). I was wondering if you could fit a .300 H&H or .338-06 in the same package she shoots so well now.
