Is it needed on the 404 Jeffery?

I haven't bothered with adding one to the 375's I've done, and wonder if it might be a good idea on the 404. The action is a Win M70, and I will be using at least 2 crossbolts.

Yes it's cocked, and it has bullets too!!!

There are three places a stock can split out from recoil; behind the recoil lug/front action screw or pillar, behind the magazine cut out, behind the rear action screw or pillar. Why not put a cross bolt at all three positions if they can be accommodated. An additional recoil lug can never guarantee that a split won't occur at any of these three sites in a stock if they too are not protected with cross bolts.

The Cross Bolts at the front of the action and behind the mag box are a given. I may add the third but that is still up in the air.
