| Tried it on the oak gunwales of my dory and the seats. It has a lot of solids in it that gave a "milky" look to the finish, obsured the grain.
I didn't like it at all, actually stripped the gunwales and did them with Deks Olje. I may try that on a stock some day. |

| Hmmm , Thats the opposite of what I experienced
I used it on a front door of a house where the old finish had seperated from the wood from water at the bottom of the door. I stripped and sanded the bottom half applyed the sikkens cetol and the wood and grain shows through brighter and clearer than the old finish . Its very clear and not milky at all. Now I have to strip the top part of the door to match |

| I just checked my old can, it's Cetol Marine Light. The drips on the can look like caramel. |
