Alf, You could be right, but probably the last gun I will own is one of the new Sauers..you have to admit they are butt ugly and my no. 1 rule is a gun must look good...One thing I will give the Europeans and that is they can really over engineer a rifle, and they are short on taste IMO...I think I will stay with the US guns, most of them shoot OK...
For pure accuracy I think the Brnos M-21 and 22, have proven the most accurate for me, but maybe I have been lucky, but they sure look like a rifle should look..

If you were correct in your first post, then all bench shooters wouldn't be shooting custom actions, nor would they have all used sleeved 700s way back when.
