Well, I believe Dave Kiff makes the short action bolts in .590 so all you would have to do is use a short action Remington action body. When I was a kid. I had the stick. I had the rock. The 300 Norma Magnum has a .585" base diameter, and if shorter than the 338 Lapua Magnum. I think the shells are 30-06 length. Custom actions use a ,700 diameter bolt body.  | |||
