Rifle is currently a .264WM and needs to be a .458 Lott. Who has a reasonable price on this sort of work and can also modify the rails to feed?

CDNN still has rifles? Hmm... I like this idea.

However I have to shitcan the barrel either way, in favor of an extremely heavy sporter barrel to get a loaded weight of 11 pounds without scope in 18" flavor.

I will call CDNN soon.

Well my 2cents if I was going to go with a 18" barrel I'd leave it 458wmag cut the barrel off move the sight and add lead to the stock maybe a recoil reducer if I wasn't happy with the weight. Don't know about cdnn but they are on gunbroker for around $580 buynow.

As usual just my $.02

A CM barrel is not to my liking, especially one so light, and 1900 fps does not make me feel warm fuzzies.

I need a rifle that is heavy despite the short barrel and doesn't mind being leaned up in the corner of the cabin without cleaning whether it's been rained on or not.
