I just acquired a Parker-Hale Midland in 6.5x55 and I am at a loss as to where I will be able to get a good stock for it. Walnut will be a must of course, I think it would be a shame for it to be mated to anything else. I think I will also need a hinged floor plate but I am not sure yet. I think I will get a Williams Pre-64 model if you guys think that will work. Possible I might need a bolt stop ejector too. Do I need to find a Parker-Hale bolt stop or will 1903 bolt stop work? I have bought 4 of the Parker Hale Midland 300WM barrels from Gunparts corp. http://www.e-gunparts.com/search_beta.asp Select the "parker hale" brand and the model number.

I have one of those, its also in 6.5x55. This is a curious hybrid mix of a 98 and a 1903 Springfield. The Bolt stop/ejector was their own design and its a tough job to find one. 98 bottom metal will fit so will any barrel with 98 threads. ......civilize 'em with a Krag

Unfortunately they didn't have much to help me. Maybe they might get some parts in the future. @ikesdad: How happy are you with your PH? Have you kept it stock or have you customized it?
