One of the selling points of the BRNO 21H is its light weight. This makes it a questionable choice for a magnum cartridge with that large a case capacity. I have personal experience with a 21H in 7X64 Brenneke, and it is a full fledged 300 yard cartridge. which would require no drastic change to the action and magazine box.

thank you for the reply ... that was my second choice for a caliber ... BUT back to strength of brno 21h do you know if it can handle magnum pressures ..... and or do you know max length of loaded rounds that fit in magazine .. as always thanks again from the sw mn. farmer

Any action which will accommodate a .30-'06 length cartridge should accept a short magnum like the 7mm Remington Magnum, which, incidentally, has two grains more case capacity and is infinitely more available than the Blaser cartridge. The issue on a magnum size cartridge is the magazine box width, not the length. If the cartridges don't stack correctly in the magazine, then the magazine capacity will be limited and in all likelihood the feed will have to be corrected.

is the "action" strong enough .. more than likely

is the stock? hmmm, mebbe, mebbe not.

7x64 solves all the problems, and if you aren't a reloader, hornady sells a 162 an 140 gr loading for it...

i AM a 7x64 fanboy, so that this with a grain of salt

I don't like any small ring action for magnum calibers, your looking for trouble, although I think the worst that could happen is excess head space...They were ment for 30-06 size rounds, and I know the 7x64 works well in them..Most 21s and 22s are worth too much to break down and customize..and they are pretty light and have stock design that's not handy from a recoil standpoint...
