| I have built two 7.62 X 39 98 Mausers. I had to machine a bushing or spacer and low temp soldered it accross from the extractor to compensate for the smallet diameter case. I spent the most time on it getting it to feed. They are pretty accurate and you get velocities in the 2700 fps range due to the 22 inch barrel versus the 16 inch barrel in the AK 47's. |

| Craftsman, you beat me to the punch. I was going to say that I knew a man that built two of them, but alas, you got the jump on me. Good luck and good shooting |

| Zastava of Kragujevac ( ex Jugo ) used to build a small Mauser action for .222, .223 and 7.62x39. i handled one : a sleek little rifle! Im not sure where to get them: Interarms? Good shooting! Hermann ------------------
