I used to have a truglo fiber optics on my Remington 700 Safari KS (.416 RM) Frowner - 'used' since yesterday an accidental fall broke the front sight into pieces Mad ... actually I cannot complaint about this tru glo performance concerning their brightness, but always doubted about their sturdiness Roll Eyes - till it finally broke due to a rather light bump ...

Since I have to replace it, I am looking for something more suitable for a hunting rifle (capable to withtstand some shakes and minors strokes, unavoidable in a hunt - and of course the recoil of this cartridge)

Any suggestion will be appreciated !

If you like the fiber optics, william's are made alot sturdier, and have all metal ones(except for the bead of course).

you can replace it and put a hood with an opening cut in it to let the light in on the front ot protect it. I have seen these advertised on websites of some of the manufacturers.

I have NECG front and rear sights. Like them very much so far. They have fiber optic sights and also hoods as suggested above.
