AfrikaanderSights advice requested
I used to have a truglo fiber optics on my Remington 700 Safari KS (.416 RM)

- 'used' since yesterday an accidental fall broke the front sight into pieces

... actually I cannot complaint about this tru glo performance concerning their brightness, but always doubted about their sturdiness

- till it finally broke due to a rather light bump ...
Since I have to replace it, I am looking for something more suitable for a hunting rifle (capable to withtstand some shakes and minors strokes, unavoidable in a hunt - and of course the recoil of this cartridge)
Any suggestion will be appreciated !

Don MarkeyIf you like the fiber optics, william's are made alot sturdier, and have all metal ones(except for the bead of course).
The front sight on my Encore is metal with the fiber optic.

buckeyeshooteryou can replace it and put a hood with an opening cut in it to let the light in on the front ot protect it. I have seen these advertised on websites of some of the manufacturers.

MikeBurkeI have NECG front and rear sights. Like them very much so far. They have fiber optic sights and also hoods as suggested above.
