What scope base does this rifle use? Is it standard M-98?

Try measuring the receiver ring diameter. If it is 1.3 inches then it probably takes M-96 type bases. If 1.4 inches it is a large ring and needs a M-98 set. My resource material tells me they were made on large and small ring actions.

Check Midsouth. They have a closeout on the Leupold QR 2 piece bases that fit at least some of the Husqvarnas.
