is there any way to clean the releasing agent off of the gun metal besides scraping it off? is there any solvent that will remove it without harming the metal? thanks in advance, tom | ||

What does the can say? I use silicone rain impragnating spray (for slip) and it wipes off with Coleman fuel/ white gaz. | |||

No, youll have to re-blue... Most gun cleaners will soften it up and make it easier to come off. _____________________ Steve Traxson | |||

Acra Glass uses Poly Vinal acetate (PVA) which is water soluble. Be sure to oil it good and wash with hot water. BIll | |||
