I have juts got a pair of m24/52 in very good condition to be used as a platform for a 8X64 S. What is the quality of these actions? Is there any difference between them and a Checz VZ-24? Is the quality of these actions better or worse than an Argentine mauser, metallurgically speaking? Thank you in advance, for your comments. Ignacio Colomer

These are czech vz24's. They were refurbed presumably in 1952. Thus they were as good as a czech at one time. A lot can happen during refurbs so check things out. Provided the actons passed inspection, I would have no problems building on them. They are less likely to run soft than the 1909. Aut vincere aut mori
