Hello, I have a friend who is attending gunsmithing school and was inquiring about enfields... Just wanted to know if anybody had any instructional data for an enfield conversion to 505 Gibbs. I remember at some point I heard someone may have the schematics on this forum. I know it's a daunting task, but I think he'd just like it for reference nevertheless. If anyone can help lead me in the right direction I'd appreciate it. Thanks all, Mark.

Jim Wisner published a set of detailed directions and blueprints on converting Enfields to 416 Rigby and 505 Gibbs in an old issue of a gunmaking magazine that I don't remember the name of but am sure some on this forum will. Anyone who claims the 30-06 is ineffective has either not tried one, or is unwittingly commenting on their own marksmanship Phil Shoemaker Alaska Master guide FAA Master pilot NRA Benefactor www.grizzlyskinsofalaska.com
