I have B&C fiberglass stock , not plastick, but solid fiberglass. I would like to make some changes to the shape of the stock. Take some off here and add some there. Will auto bondo work for the build up or should I use somethinmg else. An any other hits appreciated. Thanks

I don't like bondo for this, as it WILL chip and crack.. but you can lay fiberglass over it... i THINK there's a fiberglass/resin bodyfiller... haven't used it... bondo WILL crack on a stock, it certainly does on patterns jeffe opinions vary band of bubbas and STC hunting Club Information on Ammoguide about the416AR, 458AR, 470AR, 500AR What is an AR round? Most auto parts stores will sell a fiberglass body repair kit--usually a three part deal: resin, activator, and fiberglass cloth. Easy to use and tougher than you are. Rough the surface, lay it up thicker than you need, lett fully cure and bring to shape with a good cabinet makers rasp. Jay Kolbe
